well maybe i should expain myself better. we buy water from the water place. returnable bottles. also i like the taste better. those 'water places' get their water from the city water source. They may or may not run it through a filtration or reverse osmosis system. Either way you're still drinking city water. you can buy small filtration systems that attach to yor fridge or under a sink u drink from for a reasonable price.

Being a die-hard re-cycler, no. You have to say things point blank. BTW, No caps=No yelling.

I believe you guys are all correct. Municipal supplies do have requirements and standards for water whereas bottled water does not. That bottled water you buy might be just tap water, and maybe even worse. It might have been filtered through my old crusty pair of gym socks 5x. bigdipper, Wow, you don't think the goverment should "Regulate" this Industry do you? It seems like Billions of dollars are be bilked from the American Public. Naw, there are too many Goverment Regulations aren't there? g

gg, Safe-guarding things we eat and/or drink isn't regulating, it's safety! That's IS the purpose of the FDA & EPA isn't it?
Why even bother testing our food & drugs if what we drink isn't being tested?
BTW, I see many babies & children drinking bottled water ... shouldn't it be tested & deemed safe for them, esp. knowing how much more things effect fast-growing lil bodies?
