Anyone elses water coming out cloudy looking? Looks like well water. Filled a clear glass up with water and cannot see thru it cause the water is that cloudy.

At least it's not just me...Mine has been cloudy for the past few days, and tastes almost "soapy"...Hmmm...

Wondering if it is from the road salt from the streets getting washed away down the drain and getting re-used being drawn in with the water.

Doubtful, there was a water main break by the viaduct last night that stirred the water on the east and south side of town.

jude, Since there are no "standards", that "bottle water" you're drinking could have been filled from your neighbor's tap. Looks clean though, right? g

Usually means full of tiny air bubbles. We have had several water main breaks recently

Most bottled water comes from a municipal water source and is filtered again

dont know if it is different, but only drink spring water jude, How do you know it's "spring water"? Now if we could just put in "glass bottles" from our taps, Streator would be booming again. g

Yea, keep drinking that bottled water that has been shown to be worse than city water & NOT spring water!!! BTW, keep filling up the land fills w/all that plastic while you're at it!

I have to agree with Greek and Blue Star, you never know where the bottle water is coming from and we have not the room for more plastic in our land fills. Put a label on it and people will buy into the scam of just plain old filtered water for a high price lol

Our water on the North side is CLEAR once the water turns cold out of the faucet. It's the water that is coming out of the faucets first, that's been in the pipes and warm, that's coming out cloudy.
Kit ONLY drinks from the bathroom faucet and she waits until it's changed color to drink. It HAS to be something in the taste or smell keeping her from drinking what's coming out for the first few minutes.
It's not temperature related because she doesn't care for water that is cold.
