A "State of Emergency" has been declared in 31 states now due to the propane shortage...Kinda scary, and I feel horrible for those who have to rely on it as their heat source...

A "State of Emergency" has been declared in 31 states now due to the propane shortage...Kinda scary, and I feel horrible for those who have to rely on it as their heat source... yeah, it's a good idea to have a back up heat source to supplement your main heat, like a pellet stove a friend of mine who lives in Madison had 1 of 2 of his furnaces quit...said he could keep his house 59 with just the one furnace running. said they're showing up today to replace the bad one. he's lucky to get someone to show up lol

Think this is the 1st time in history to see the southern coast especially northern florida expecting up to 10" of snow that nws is predicting.

Think this is the 1st time in history to see the southern coast especially northern florida expecting up to 10" of snow that nws is predicting. When I lived just south of Jacksonville in 1989, we got darned close to 10" of snow one day. Total paralysis, but was all melted less than 2 days later. But yea, nobody could ever remember that kind of snow back then either.
