How's that Cutler thing playing out for the Bears. Actually, Cutler played a pretty doggone good game, it was the Defense that was horrific......... Kind of like the Gvt., you can't blame the Taxpayer when they send in record Tax revenues and the flippin Politicians still spend 700 Billion or so more than was sent in.

Well, Feb 4th 1996 it was -36 F. without any wind chill, and Feb 22, 1999 it was something like -23 F without any wind chill, so we have had some pretty doggone cold hits since then as well. It was WAY too cold to be outside having a ciggie....... As for the Bears, wonder if they regret not talking to Urlacher now? Yeah, but it's been a long time since I've seen any -20 stuff here, since 1989? When I lived in Rockford as a kid we had weeks of -25 stuff this time of year. I've noticed this week they're making -9...not even close to what it should be?

I'll give Mel Tucker another year to form my opinion of him. Let's hope he can bring the D back to their former glory.

the bears need lots of help all over the team. I think lots of their contracts are up too.

The bear's defense of the last couple of years, was based on stripping of the ball. In my opinion, that takes away from the game. I know that is part of the game, but I like to see accurate passes and a running back, darting, executing cuts, and speed on a play. To see a baboon, constantly, beating and punching at a football, chasing an offensive player, that showed hisassup. That is is just ape instincts, at its best. The scrums that half a dozen players pile on, are boring and detract from the game. Sure the baboon with the big biceps will win, no skill needed there.
