HOW CAN INSURANCE COMPANIES HAVE STORM CHASERS PUT ON A NEW ROOF WHEN THERE IS NO POSSIBILITY OF A LEAK AT THIS TIME OF THE YEAR!!! IL DEPT OF REGULATIONS SAYS IT IS NOT GOOD; SO MUCH FOR REGULATIONS; MUST BE A DOUBLE STANDARD!!!

As long as they're a reputable company and they guarantee the work I guess its ok.. I think you have up to 18 months to get the job done though..And i wouldn't want my roof done this time of year....

My company ( Pekin ) said they would rather I wait until the Summer......... Guess it is the individual Insurance companies policies.

Make sure you get a warranty on the ROOFING MATERIALS and for the INSTALLATION. State is probably upset b/c the installers screwed up & voided the manufacturer's warranty.
