72 years ago today, December 7th, 1941 the Japs attacked Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. This was an unprovoked, sneak attack that killed 2402 servicemen and women along with several dozen civilians, sunk more that a dozen ships and destroyed well over 1500 aircraft and other equipment.
If you see fit and are so inclined I would urge all of you to say a short prayer for those who lost their lives in that attack and also pray that something like Pearl Harbor never happens again. The victims of the attack at Pearl Harbor were the bravest and the brightest young people of that time and they were snuffed out in just a matter of minutes in a brutal and faceless manner.
Let us never forget Pearl Harbor!

Look at all the "Greatest Generation" did for those that followed. I thank each and every one of them that Served in the Armed Forces, worked in the plants to produce needed war materials, or sacrificed by going though the needed and required rationing, that was required by the Federal Government. Our Country had a common purpose, there were inequities in the system, some have even been recognized as being Unconstitutional, but we did become a world power. Hopefully, we all appreciate the sacrifices all those who lived through that era made for us. What a turning point in American History. g
