When something GREAT happens in town and few people have anything to say about it! What Great thing happened? The Silver Fox - I think it is an awesome place - dancing was fun.....still a little sore The Parade - it was great too........we had a lot of fun

Wait until the newness wears off an establishment. Longevity will be the key in determining, if a venue, lasts. Lots of luck, it will be needed in a crimetown, such as the one, on the title of this site.

A guy had one in Dallas years ago. I would see it about once a month. Yes one of the big events in my young life in Streator.....was meeting Little Oscar, getting a toy weiner whistle and seeing the Weiner mobile.

I had mine for a real long time. I must have lost it in the move. MnM, that is neat stuff. Ever remember Ruff n Ready? They had a plastic screen you could put over the TV screen to get the "Special Message" of the week. I also sent a letter to Smokey the Bear and he sent me back all the stuff to be an official "Junior Park Ranger". That was like six weeks of waiting for the postman every day. LOL

Do you remember the "rubber band boats"? I just saw an ad for them in one of the obscure catalogs that come to us, and I was tempted to order a few. I remember making them as a child and then getting into trouble for wasting water, when I floated them in the bathtub.
