sitting on bridge street waiting for train to pass when it threw on brakes and stopped suddenly . Next the fire and emergency vehicles left the station a few minutes later. Anyone know what's up? Already had a talk with God asking him if it was anything living to please keep it that way

Streator police and La Salle County Coroner's Office have investigators at the scene of a pedestrian-vs.-train collision that occurred just before 4 p.m. Monday.
Neither police officers nor coroner's office staff were available for comment as of 4:45 p.m.
