The sand isn't typically so bad. A driver had a leaking door a few days ago and dropped a lot of sand in transport. (He was respectfully sent home for equipment failure.) What road is '90%' gravel now?

Cleveland street has nothing to do with the sand business... They can't navigate off of 12th street.

It was about the city keeping the roads up and clean not about the trucking sand ? when u hall that many loads of sand is hard to beleve there is not more sand on the roads !!!!!! look at the old track lines that come in to town thats were i get all my sand for sand blasting it higher then the rails LOL

Yea, how about we just run all business out of town, and then spend 5X the money replacing asphalt rather than chipping and tarring to keep our roads decent.
Then you can holler about the property taxes.

The City roads are in poor shape and the MAJOR patch work that is being done around the area isn't really the greatest...

What road is '90%' gravel now? If they are leaking sand on the road call the state police and report it, they can dispatch a DOT officer to observe the trucks. ANY of the load leaking is a violation, sand is extremely hard on car finishes and glass. It is as easy as wetting a leaking area to stop small leaks, if the driver is too lazy to do that let them get a ticket. If they have faulty gates or doors they shouldn't even pull them out onto a public highway without repairing them first.
