A nice win over Sterling propels the boys into a contest at LP against an LP team ambushed by a determined Dixon squad. The addition of KK in the backfield for Streator made a difference. KK already serves justice from his LB position. LP will be looking to play well against SHS and won't make the mistake of taking them lightly. I'm hoping the Sterling win gives the boys the confidence and motivation to finish their schedule with wins. We have LP, Geneseo, and Dixon left on the schedule and then these schools and the rest of them will be in our rear-view mirror. We'll be the biggest school in the new conference. The conferences are comparable only in the fact that that they both play football. There will probably be more wins, even with the present coaching staff.
Oh, well...

Streator seems to have been improving as the season has progressed. They should be competitive every week in the new conference next year. It will be quite a change from what they're used to.
