I set a WVU(West Virginia University) school record with a batting average of .426 in 1960, was named West Virginia State High School Basketball Player of the Year in 1958. I averaged an all-time record of 41.3 points per game. Who was I? (It's not who you might think it is, if you are thinking great scoring basketball players from WV about that time) I am thinking Jerry West. His profile is used by the NBA on it's logo.

Hot Rod Hundley is my guess, he was before Jerry West, later played for the Lakers and now announces them.

I just looked it up and I could have guessed for years and never got it right. Plus, I didn't read it closely. I'd be surprised if anybody can actually guess this question. Good question Masked Man. And I'm old enough to remember W. Virginia basketball at the college level, that's where you tripped me up you devil.

Not sure if the years match up but Paul Popovich was a utility IF for the Cubs back in the day.

I just thought about Vic Harris as well, I believed he played after Popovich as a utility player for the Cubs

Former Cub great Paul Popovich. His basketball talents far exceeded his baseball ability.

This is the world's largest sporting facility. How large? The Rose Bowl The Roman Colosseum Yankee Stadium and The Vatican City can all fit inside. What is it?

That Cub infield was among the best ever. One year they all made the All-star team, including catcher Randy Hundley, Ernie Banks, Beckert, Kessinger, Santo. The LA Dodgers were solid in the 70's/80's with their infield(Lopes, Russel, Garvey, Cey), but the Big Red Machine was really pretty awesome......if the Reds had just had some pitching.....you just don't get much better than Bench, Rose, Morgan, Pérez, Concepción, Foster, Griffey, and Geronimo. That was a great Cubs team. Maybe the best Cubs team I have ever seen . I had forgotten about Popo. Good question MM!

I think that also has a couple of golfing holes in it, but I can't remember what tournament is played around there. I think they enter through a tunnel under the road to get to the holes.
