Anthony's made something for the war effort. FOUND IT!
Like other companies during World War II, the Anthony Company was restricted to the manufacture of only those products which were needed for the war effort. The United States Government, however, contracted with the Anthony Company for the production of all kinds of truck bodies for the United States Armed Forces. One of their largest contracts called for them to produce dump truck bodies for the building of the Alaskan Highway project. During this contract, the work force broke all known production records for the manufacture of the largest single fleet of heavy duty dump truck bodies. The Company and its work force was awarded the Army-Navy “E” (Excellence) award for the manufacture of wartime materials.

I know there were all kinds of restrictions imposed on materials too. Steel usage was used for only critical products and rubber was hard to find for tires or any consumer goods. I think wood was used in some products that would have generally used steel. Howard Hughes SPRUCE GOOSE.

Joe DiMaggio. Aaron Judge just broke Joe's rookie record for home runs. There is a lot more baseball to be played. I think, like you, that he could break Rodger Maris's record.

Going into the minor leagues, Judge was a 6'-7" average hitter with a huge strike zone. The Yankees must have found him the perfect hitting instructors. I think he's the tallest ball player since Moose Skowren.

Yeah the "moose" was a lot shorter than I thought. Just looked it up and was shocked. Then looked up the tallest to ever play for the Yankees, Randy Johnson. I never even remembered he played for the Yanks.

Aaron Judge put on an amazing show last night at the home run derby. It's the first time I've seen him hit. He hit home runs to all fields and a bunch over 500'.
Amazing!

Yup. I forgot. This year's team is a lot different. Benjamin Thomas Zobrist (/ˈzoʊbrɪst/; born May 26, 1981), nicknamed Zorilla, is an American professional baseball second baseman and outfielder for the Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays/Rays, his first MLB club and where he spent the majority of his career, and briefly for the Oakland Athletics and Kansas City Royals. A two-time World Series champion in consecutive seasons of 2015 with the Royals and 2016 with the Cubs, Zobrist was the 2016 World Series Most Valuable Player.
