Vintage Tech Recyclers will be at St. Mary's Hospital from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. collecting unwanted or unused electronics. The collection site will be on the corner of Sixth and South Bloomington streets near the main hospital. Vintage Tech Recyclers will collect any of the following: EDs and EEDs covered under OEM Desktop and laptop computers. Monitors (CRT and LCD). Keyboards. Mice. Cords and cables (power, USB, etc.). Hard drives and miscellaneous computer components. CD-ROM/DVD/Zip/Tape drives. Printers (laser, ink jet). TVs. Console TVs. VCRs/DVD players. Handheld electronic organizers/games. Video game players. Joysticks/game controls. Cameras (film and digital). Camcorders. Radios/stereos. Portable CD players. Typewriters/word processors. Fax machines. Scanners. Telephones. Pagers. In addition to the electronics recycling drive, St. Mary's Pharmacy will collect expired medications for those people who wish to safely discard to assist in preserving the water supply.
