Fo2, please let us know if you hear of the open date! My hubby, a good friend of ours, and I stopped in there tonight about 6ish. A couple of other guys that we knew were in there, and had just finished eating...which they said that the food was good. They saved and refinished the original bar, but it has been shortened quite a bit, by about a 1/3...alot of space has been taken up in the front corner of the bar to accommodate like 4, if not 5 dart machines, separated by a wall between the bar....which then it's cramped then due to. They do have about 10 different beers on tap, one tapper is even an old style black phone receiver, lol. They offer alot of different flavored vodka's, and somekind of "moonshine" drinks too. There are 3 video gaming machines on the north wall, along with of course a ticket / voucher machine, and an ATM. I did ask the bartender if he happened to have a printed out menu, in which he stated that they don't as of yet, but will. The regular menu that I did get to look at offered a wide variety of items though. I wish them all the best of luck!! Next time we pop in there, we'll also try their food. M

Yep, they're officially opened to the public..not sure though what their hours are there daily, but he told me they're open until 11 pm. If I find out more, I'll post to keep everyone updated, and if and when they get their printed menus..I'll scan one and post that too. They're working out all the kinks, then surely, I would think that they'll have some sort of grand opening. M

I wish them the best and plan on trying the place out once it has been open awhile. I usually wait a few weeks too, but was in the areas yesterday aft. & decided to try them. I didn't know the opening time, but it was about 4:15. I've been to many BBQ places & will say most have a good BBQ sauce, it's the tendenerness of the meat & it's got smokey flavor I judge on & many don't pass that test! Hands down, the Bull Pen has very tender ribs, smokey flavoer & delish! Try it, you won't be sorry! They didn't have menues yet, but I got the Ph # to call them!

We went there today and it was really good. They will not be having a grand opening. They don't want to have everyone show up at once as they are not that big. Prices were reasonable and the food was great.

I have heard mixed reviews, but I am sure there are things to work out. Best of luck. I've been also hearing many too TOSH...some love / like it...and then some were totally turned off. As with everything, everyone has, and of course definitely entitled to their own opinion. We're gonna wait though to give the food a try. As for the bar area though...alot of people, myself included feel that the bar has been cut way too short, and way toooo much of an area has been dedicated to dart machines. People have expressed to me that dart and pool leagues are fizzling out. And, I don't really think that many people will be ordering their variety of import beers on tap @ $2.50 a schooner....most want Miller or Budweiser on tap. JMHO................. M
