It is more than just the Aquaponics issue. I am not whining just talking about the issues I see.
They can and did stop business from coming here. As I think you and greekgod suggested before, I could have gotten an attorney and forced them to follow our laws.
Like the atheist group, I could have had an attorney provide my first amendment rights as well.
I don't feel we should have to hire attorneys or have court battles for those things though.
You may see my talking about the problems as not being productive, but I think otherwise.
There have been more and more people talking about wanting change too.
We have a new councilman now who is providing a different perspective in their discussions.
I think we are starting to see some change.
I have tried to tone down my attitude and am interested in talking about positives for our future, but if you want to get into the details of Aquaponics being done by the books, by all means I am ready.

Stand up for what you believe in and stand behind what you say; you are only as insignificant as you allow yourself to be! By our City leaders doing things differently, Anything could be Possible for Streator's future!

You are always whining Kyle -
How much did you have to pay that councilman to be on your side?

I noticed that you didn't speak up at the council meeting with reasons for a ban on laying hens.
Did you see the poll and comments to the articles on The Times website or Facebook comments on the subject? There is a lot of support for them being places other than just farms.
The voice of the voters got him in office, obviously our community is starting to say that they want things done differently.

Sorry I work a real job and was not able to make it - not like some people I know.

I've heard them read statements from people who could not be in attendance, they didn't mention yours.

funny kyle - you don't know who i am
I don't have to. They didn't mention anyone's statement this time and no one else spoke.
Don't worry though, there is another chance for your voice to be heard next Wednesday at 7:00pm, if you are not too busy working on your several apartment buildings or tipping a few more brews at DC's.

You really are a little man - Like you were told before - stop judging people - not everyone drinks like you do Kyle Mitchell - sorry little man but I do not drink - never have - hey by the way I have seen you walk in that bar a few times yourself - funny how that is ----------------------- we even have your picture to prove it
At least I am a professional at my job - can you say that
I got my money from working hard not from investors
Streator has never owned the water company. It has been private since way back in the early days.
Do others agree with this? I'll try to stop by to ask the historical society.

They had a clipping from 1887 reminding people to pay their Streator Aqueduct water bills at City Hall. It appears it may have been privatized in 1939.
