There is a memorial setup at the northwest corner of Main and Sterling St., it says Ricky Mendoza died on Saturday. It's been a long time since I had Spanish class but I think it says something about a car?

I called the non emergency number today twice to figure out what happened. First time the operator said they knew nothing about the death, the second time the operator said he could not make a comment as of yet.

Why are a bunch of strangers interjecting themselves into someone else's death? Why does anyone here feel entitled to this information? Leave it alone. I would not be happy if that were my relative and a bunch of busy bodies were calling around trying to get information about it. When there is something to report, Im sure it will be in the paper. Until then, leave it alone! Even if it was the non emergency number, Im sure that person's job is not to sit around answering phone calls of people looking for gossip.

That I don 't think is any of your business . If something happened I am sure in time there will be some type of statement. Why can't people keep out of other people's business . If it would be my family member you better believe you would be told in a nice way to mind your own business . My god and to call about it that is low very low.

Why on earth would you call the non-emergency line for something to talk about. They have enough to do without your questions.

I drove by there today and the picture and flowers were still there...That being said, if "it's nobody's business", then don't set up a PUBLIC tribute/memorial...

Having a public memorial for someone does not mean you shouldn't have privacy in the event of a death. It's human nature to want to remember our fallen friends and relatives. It doesn't mean it's okay to start two threads on a public forum and call the police to ask what happened. If there was a crime or an accident, it will be reported. If we never see a news story, then it was someone who meant something to the owners or customers of the bar. Calling around and asking questions is stupid and just plain nosy.

So there is a memorial so it seems as if someone died. Was this person's life taken by someone else? I have the right to know if there is someone at large who killed someone, like it or not.
That said my thoughts are with the family and friends.

From what I was told by a relative that was up there, said there were 2 loud bangs and then an ace hardware employee came out yelling call the cops.
However. if something actually happened up there resulting in death, don't you think cruise night would have been shut down by the pd?
I think everything that's being said is just a rumor, and the memorial of the guy dead maybe coincidental but not related.

Then to start a thread about something you know NOTHING!!!!! Wow.
