Stopped in at this local restaurant and had an unpleasant experience. We had to wait to be seated and had to seat ourselves. A customer, came up and said to find a seat. Meanwhile, another customer was saying "about time" when he received a coffee refill. There was only one, overworked waitress. We decided to exit this establishment and headed to a eatery that had great food ad service. (Al's). No service,No patronage. citysliker, I bet they'll really miss you at "C*ipper's". I doubt if I could satisfy you in my store either. Actually I hope you don't stop in. g

It was a wrap, if I wanted a chicken salad I would have ordered one. It wasn't a big deal, I just didn't want to pay for something that I wasn't going to eat. I wanted to pay for my fries and drink plus the rest of my party's order. I agree that everyone has bad days and like I said, it was the first time I had ever had a problem there. I still left a good tip (wasn't my servers fault) and I still gladly paid for everything my party consumed. I just didn't think it was a big deal to say "hey this isn't what I wanted and Id like it removed from my bill"

Granted my family and I don't go to Chippers all that much. But when we have, we have not had any problems with their service. That is all I have to say about the subject.

That is my thought, and I live, by it. cityslicker, Personally, my thought was why would anyone have to go to a forum to complain about something so trivial as ONE experience they perceived as poor service. Is it simply to be vindictive? This does of course hurt the business owner. How much does that LOCAL BUSINESS OWNER put back into the Community to support, oh let's say the YOUTH SPORTING EVENTS, just to name one. Main Street Businesses support a Halloween Contest and give Candy to the Children, and people come on to complain about trivia such as, sure we were late but MY CHILD didn't get any candy. Sorry, if you are saddened my "antagonistic reply. Just look at it this way though, someday you'll be ahead of me in line, and I will have to suffer all that you did? But again your POINT WAS? g
