Oldtimer, I agree pension reform is a top priority. But making sure our children are safe and healthy is, too.
Good daycare provide healthy, stimulating programs. Don't all of our kids deserve that? Should it be ok to plop a pop tart in front of them and call it breakfast? Set them in front of cartoons, the whole day? Some, unfortunately do just that.

Yes children need to eat healthy. That law can be passed after pension reform. The way the state is going there will be no money to provide nutritious lunches or just keep the lights on at schools.
No other laws should be passed until pension reform is done.
All lawmakers should go to prison for stealing money from teachers pensions and not paying it back.
It has the state all.screwed up yet they avoid the issue by proposing petty laws.
