I'm not for or against the right to bear arms but one has to almost think this gentleman went out with his weapon with the intent of creating this video.

I think the Officers had every right to put Him in Cuffs with His Attitude.
I also believe around the 5:45 Minute Mark He said He was a War Veteran?

If it was some old shotgun he was carrying, then the people wouldn't have called police. But it happened to be what looked like the ar15 he was carrying that resemble an assault weapon ,that prompted people to call the police.

This was in rural Texas, the Vet was hiking with his son for his Eagle award, and the LEO certainly did violate his rights.
He will end up with a settlement.
Had it been downtown Chicago, then the situation would be far different.

Texas? Of all places, wouldn't even expect the police in that state to do this.
Someone posted a pic of a guy carrying a ar15 in a store awhile back standing at the check out counter exercising his rights and no one called the police on him. Was this to in Texas?

I agree, give some people a 45 and an assault rifle and they tend to get really big, really fast. Then they get arrested...lol.

Relax snipe, I was just agreeing with you for once. No, actually you made a snide remark about the Veteran, not the cop. The Veteran had a perfect right to be doing what he was, the Cop had no reason, nor right to harass him.

The cop even admitted that He was exempt from the law......... really? no wonder why so many throw out the Constitution.
