was going to plant some grass, but its so dry its kind of a waste right now, hate to water where Mother Nature usually takes over There is a very large patch of our grass that died last year. No clue what happened to it. It's been happily living there and growing for decades. Now it's dead. Maybe it got sprayed or over-fertilized? You just never know what caused it? Time to rough up the ground and replant it.

There are gas lines in that area and always one utility or another digging up the street. The dead area is between our house and the road.

Maybe Grubs, or some other insects...very hard to tell ?

Going to get all my containers ready next weekend, to start planting. Im ready for all the scents of my herbs. I always plant lots of lavender. Ahhh, i can smell it now.
