I learned alot about gardening from an elderly polish guy years ago. He would always suggest things to do and always seems like what he suggested worked. The only issue I had with this gentlemen was his polish accent. His wife taught me how to make sauerkraut from our cabbage.

My dad always said Good Friday, but Easter is early this year. And Winter is hanging on something fierce. This winter weather needs to stop hanging around. I would like, very much so, to start on my garden and to start planting flowers. I would like to see those hummingbirds and butterflies.

I have tried using 5 gallon buckets and the hanging baskets to grow my tomatoes and cucumbers. both have their good and bad points and do work. I am trying to use trellis growing to use the small space I have for a garden.

Was at the dollar store at Westgate over the weekend. With my son. He saw those starter planter things that you can start the plants and put the contain er into the ground. He was wanting the cherry tomato ones, which I may get on my next pay period for him.

My neighbor lady planted lemon boys tomatoes last year. She had gave us a few to try since we shared some of our garden items with her. I asked her where she bought the lemon boys tomatoes, as I don't remember seeing them at John and Joe's last year. She does not remember. Any clue where I would be able to buy the lemon boys tomatoes, as I would like to plant them in my garden this year?

you can call john and joes about them. Jodie will check for you and let you know if she will have them or can get them. I don't remember seeing anything there like that last year either.

Tilled the area that I am going to have the garden at, yesterday. Sometime this week will go to John and Joe's for the potato. Have plans to plant the potato on Good Friday, or at least that is my plan.

I am trying to use trellis growing to use the small space I have for a garden. Sounds like you could benefit by vertical Gardening, Dive. Ive seen some great ideas that double as privacy areas. Some are very pleasing to the eye. I would like to do one with the long planters you can find in most gardening centers. I got 2 of mine at the dollar store. Im also thinking of doing one of the towers. I am hoping this summer finds me with a little time to myself to nurture some green. And a riot of color. And all the hrrbs i love.

that sounds like something I would be interested in trying since I lack the space for a regular garden. I usually do two grafted tomato plants and a few cucumbers on the trellis.

Lol, if you like strawberries, i saw a great setup where they made an arbor type structure, then ran gutter across the top and planted strawberries up there. Would make a great area for shade if you have a patio! Go to pinterest, and search strawberry plants
