Thirty-one U.S. special operation troops and 7 Afghan soldiers were killed when a NATO helicopter crashed in Afghanistan, President Hamid Karzai said Saturday.
31 American soldiers in one fell swoop. This is as real a tearjerker and as heartbreaking for the families involved as anything happening stateside. I hope all the Gabby worshipers have some tears saved back for the families of these soldiers. There will be no standing "O" for them, I'm afraid.
I thought the Kool-aid King was going to pull us out of this hell-hole? Pulling us out of Iraq and A-stan prove to be too much for the Community Organizer when he was required to sit and parley with incredibly accomplished and intimidating generals and admirals who represented the military/industrial complex.
Their personas and resumes reminded Barry of who he really is...a nobody with the ability to give a helluva' speech, intimidating him to the point of caving in to their theories and suggestions instead of telling them how it was going to be.
It must have been a jolt of adrenalin for Barry to realize that he was Commander-in-Chief of all these impressive men and women. It seems to be more important to "be one of the boys" for the SEIU veteran than to realize he was elected to pull our guys out of these nightmarish countries.
And the idiots gave this unlikely and totally unprepared Chicago politician-turned POTUS the Nobel Peace Prize upon his election!?
We thought we had seen the nadir of American politics with the election of Jimmy Carter...move over Jimmy and open up a can of Billy Beer...Obama makes you look like Winston Churchill!
Undoing the damage he has done will take the next 16 years or so by conservative presidents...starting in 2012.
