In less than a week, the government has spent 300 Billion of the 900 Billion debt ceiling. Does anyone, ANYONE think the 900 Billion will last 18 months?

Those "job creator's , you know those who benefited the most from the Bush Tax Cuts and those who enjoy the Subsidies are going to "Stand and Deliver" after "Certainty" has returned. DAMNED when will the lower 98% get some "certainty". Ask "job", Sniper, Viper, JimmyB, dog, katydid, and butterbean. Are YOU feeling better now? g

Ah, most of your response is gibberish, but it seems, you think the 900 billion debt ceiling will last 18 months?
So in less than 7 days they spent 300 billion and you think the other 600 billion will last the remaining 540 days or so?
Good luck with that!

Freedom, funny thing, it went up 238 Billion the FIRST DAY, as our illustrious leaders put the retirement money they had purloined back into the federal retirement system they pilfered while forcing the TP caucus to CAPITULATE to their form of financial pedophilia. Now if they would just worry about Social Security the same way they did about their Federal Workers............ Oh wait, there is no requirement to pay out SS........... And no, the way these folks spend, that 900 Billion won't make it 6 months.

I agree Snipe. You used 238 billion the first day, which is real close to the 250 billion I heard. My guy probably rounded up a little as billions are just "chump change" to the Fed Gov.

There's now Rep. John Boehner, (R) Ohio, Rep. Eric Cantor, (R) Virginia, Rep. Paul Ryan, (R) Wisconsin, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R) Kentucky . You know and of those who are to gutless to RENOUNCE THEIR PLEDGE TO ............. Grover Norquist, AND do the correct thing for OUR COUNTY! Until the Members of Congress who have signed the "PLEDGE" WRITTEN BY GROVER NORQUIST renounce it, they are puppets. I would love to see those "PLEDGERS" standing on the step of the CAPITOL singing a refrain from a song by, was it Englebert Humperdink, 'PLEASE RELEASE ME, LET ME GO". They are more afraid of Grover Norquist than the voters that elected them. Isn't that interesting? g

JimmyB, Name a "PLEDGE" any Democrat has taken to any individual other than their OATH OF OFFICE. Give it up, REPUBLICAN "PLEDGERS'' fear Grover Norquist. Hey, pehaps since the G"No"P and the G"tea"P are afraid to RENOUNCE THEIR PLEDGES TO GROVER. Perhaps, GROVER NORQUIST, would understand that he is not in charge of the fiscal policy of the U.S. Perhaps, GROVER NORQUIST can present his rational to STANDARD AND POORS. After all, GROVER NORQUIST has the "ba!!s and overies" of all the "PLEDGERS" in his pocket! g ;D

what is wasteful spending,it is the extreme amount of money they use for pork funds. to waste on parties and what other non essentials they spend it on,instead of putting that money in funds of where it is needed.
pork funds should be banned from gov't altogether to eliminate the waste of taxpayers money.
we got people out of work, either homeless or becoming homeless, cannot afford to buy enough food to survive on ect.
there is no excuse why this country cannot stop hunger and homelessness.
they need to focus on our own people and help them. not other countries.
our gov't needs to get their priorities straight.
