Conservative Republican Senator Alan Simpson is fed-up, and he's asking who the hell is Grover Norquist. Left standing almost completely alone on the right side of the aisle, he describes the rest of the Republican Party and the Tea Party members as some new version of a G'Tea'P following a dangerous path set by a man named Grover Norquist. He describes their agenda as very dangerous and bad for the country. Simpson also questions Norquist's ability to threaten members of Congress to Pledge their allegiance to him or he will destroy them. Simpson has challenged members of Congress to challenge Norquist and instead, do what is right and good for the country. Simpson also adds any man that has as more influence and power than the President of the US should run for President himself. Moreover, Simpson demands Grover should be investigated to uncover where the man gets his financial influence and power or scratch to be threatening members of Congress.
I'm with Senator Simpson on this one.

I'm with Senator Simpson on this one. Simpson is no longer a senator. He was also one of those "professional politicians" who Obama's "Hope & Change" Kool-aide rhetoric targeted, 4iam. Gone since 1997, Simpson is able to collect headlines, but his yelping about Norquist is a waste of time. This is hilarious...Simpson is the very personification of the Old Guard who is really peeved about the TP's junior congessmen coming in and throwing their weight around. Unlike sitting senators, Simpson can run his mouth without fear of being usurped by a TP candidate come election time.

You forgot that his is an (EX) Senator, therefore anything he states AGAINST THE LOBBYIST GROVER NORQUIST has no credence. Oh, ex-Senator Simpson(R) presented many excellent ideas from th Simpson-Bowles Commission by President Barack Obama to help reduce the deficit. Of course since their recommendations included increasing the retirement age for Social Security, means testing for those who are eligible for Social Security, and then the HERETICAL recommendation of increasing the tax rates for the VERY WEALTH, it is totally unacceptable to the G"TEA"P. But of course they can only harp about the fact that you failed to note that Simpson is an 'EX" Senator who was a Republican. God, I hope I didn't make a spelling error. They only understand those "copy and paste" arguments or the Intelligentsia of YouTube! g

Do you understand that this particular pet peeve of yours is stupid, while also serving no purpose in addressing an opponent's argument? Of all the ways to discount a person's position, you seem to think that if you point out that a poster has offered quotations, links, or copy and pasted information to support their positions and inform their readers... you have refuted their post. You shouldn't wonder why you get taken to the woodshed all the time for the nonsense you post. You really don't have a clue about what you try to talk about...just weird comments, endless questions instead of addressing other peoples queries of you, and scatterbrained opinions. Oh, by all means... don't change...you're easy target practice!

Obviously they cannot comprehend what they "copy and paste" enough to reduce it to it's finer points and offer it up for debate or comment. Simply by reviewing all the last 50 threads started on the P&R section of this forum and how many you started with your "copy and paste" PROPAGANDA proves my point. We can then simply "debate" when you post "copy and paste" PROPAGANDA views from the G''tea"P with "copy and paste" retorts from all other voters in America. g ;D
