Yeah we should, except he didn't reference the term in the derogatory manner in which such small minds have collectively gathered. From your link: “Even if some people say, ‘Well the Republicans should have done this or they should have done that,’ they will hold the president responsible. Now, I don’t even want to have to be associated with him. It’s like touching a tar baby and you get it, you’re stuck, and you’re a part of the problem now and you can’t get away,” Lamborn said Friday on the Caplis and Silverman Show on 630 KHOW talk radio.
And another little fact for you dear.... that term originated with Southern Blacks in the Uncle Remus stories. You know who Uncle Remus is don't you? (There goes another American Classic in the Huck Finn heap of political correctness. ) By the way, he apologized unlike the idiot Biden.

This idiot is in the direct line to become President. Making a statement like this about his fellow Americans in mixed company, because he disagrees with them... is reason enough to ask him to step down. Doyle should go, too. Everybody realizes that things are said behind closed doors... if you are stupid enough to say things like this in mixed company and it becomes public, you should resign...Dem or GOP. Nope! Biden needs to stay right where he's at flappin his gums as much and as often as the administration will allow him out of his cage without the muzzle.

Nope, gotta start w/ Bachmann and her tirade about the 'anti' Americans in Congress. That started several years back. And sorry but the teabaggers, held us hostage, and that is terrorism. Please do tell us how the "Super Committee" is Constitutional. So yea, kindly inform us "teabaggers" how we are Terrorists. I brought this very issue up in another thread. Guess what the response was....... a link to Socialist Congressman Sanders' website with the respondent in full agreement with his tripe. And yet they have the nerve to call the Tea Party terrorists while its they who cheer for more and more "shared sacrifice" of our freedom. Government of the State, by the State and for the State should be their freaking motto.

It's funny that all of you are so unhappy with the way this country is being run, and you're so anti-everything that happens in Washington...
And yet you're still here, day after day, arguing on a small-town internet forum.
You all do know you are free to leave at any time, right? There must be a country out there somewhere on this planet that would make you happier than living here does. And yet here you are, acting like spoiled little pissants, crapping all over everyone that dares have a different opinion to your own.
That's a very sad commentary on your lives, you know?

Read to the tune of "Poor, Poor, Pitiful Me" by Linda Rondstadt. Hang in there Dancingfool/Snarko!
It's funny that all of you are so unhappy with the way this country is being run, and you're so anti-everything that happens in Washington...
Wouldn't you agree that Washington is pretty much a mess?
And yet you're still here, day after day, arguing on a small-town internet forum.
That what this internet forum is for...news flash for you or what?
You all do know you are free to leave at any time, right?
Why would posting your opinion on an internet political forum mean you wish to leave America?
There must be a country out there somewhere on this planet that would make you happier than living here does.
Your statement above presumes that we're unhappy living here. Nobody ever indicates that they are unhappy living here, Dancingfool...just unhappy with our political leadership. You savvy that? It's an easy concept.
And yet here you are, acting like spoiled little pissants, crapping all over everyone that dares have a different opinion to your own.
Ahhhh, here's your problem...you're personally intimidated by the discussions because you get your a$$ handed to you all the time. Get better arguments.
That's a very sad commentary on your lives, you know?
The fact that you can't support your political positions is a "sad commentary" on our lives? Thoughts like you posted here shows quite clearly why all you do is sling mud...you can't handle the discussion topics and that fact frustrates you no end.

But remember, tosh - Snipes LIKES you. I'd hate to see how he/she treats people he/she DOESN'T like. /sigh Yea, I happen to like her. I like her because she is a very CARING soul. She also is easily led from the likes of you. You are a Jackwagon, pure and simple, I see nothing worth putting effort into you.

awwww make me blush sniper. I see the teabaggers as a 'my way or the highway' and that to me, is not the American way. While, yes, I do agree much needs to be reformed, niether side is totally right or wrong. It is called compromise. Frankly, I am embarassed for those in DC. ALL OF THEM. Even the NFL found a compromise. lolololol

Even the NFL found a compromise. lolololol There are many examples in history where compromise was the right thing to do and many times when it was not. Look what happened to the world when it decided to compromise with Hitler and appease him as he ignored standing treaties and began taking land with his National Socialists...WW 2. The Revolutionary War and the creation of America resulted from our forefathers deciding not to compromise with England. The failure of the North and the South to compromise over slavery and state's rights resulted in between 600,000 and 800,00 deaths BUT freed the slaves. Compromise isn't abracadabra and not always the best solution. Sometimes a compromise has little or no positive effect on a problem, as evidenced with the debt ceiling situation we just went through.

Yes because certain ppl held other 'hostage' in the situation. It should have never gotten this far, w/ the game of cat and mouse, they were playing. Sorry, it makes me sad all the stupid, senseless deaths during the CW, because ppl would not see equal freedoms. Just as the wars we are fighting now, are causing senseless deaths. Your way or the highway mentality is childish and embarassing.

This mentality won America its freedom from England and Lincoln's exercise of this mentality kept our country together and freed the slaves.I don't agree with the "childish and embarassing" part of your spiel. Your opinion is obviously untrue in many cases. Did you think that holding this attitude on the part of the Black Caucus pertaining to issues dear to them is "childish and embarassing" or just embarassing because the obstinate ones were members of the Tea Party Caucus?

Even the NFL found a compromise. lolololol Tosh, I asked you some very pertinent questions. These were questions that the winning side refuses to consider much less answer. You know me, you can come to my office and we can talk as I face decisions regarding my employees, and operation of this facility, ultimately affecting several million dollars of business in Streator and affecting the working lives of more than 2 dozen of our fellow citizens. I personally know Dog and JimmyB face the same situation, though perhaps in a smaller sense, but in a larger sense in that they lose it all, not just lose sleep like I would if we make decisions with bad data or prejudices. WE are the face of the party you describe as "teabaggers". Is that how you wish to describe those people pulling the cart? Now, go back and look at those questions I asked of you, they are the same questions I have asked of faceless posters like 4iam, Dancingfool, Northsider, and yes, Greek. For all their conviction of courage, they sure appear to be scared sh!tless of someone finding out who they are. You made the statement about the Tea Party caucus having a "my way or the highway" attitude. Kindly point out an example. Tosh, the Autumn winds are soon to be blowing, even if we got spending cut to sustainable levels, the debt burden is immense. That did not happen at all, indeed, we did not even get baseline budgeting out of the way. Their biggest win? Getting projected spending on the wars cut for 10 years out........gee, we are still going to be fighting an active war in Iraq in 10 years? You need to consider if you are the Ant or the Grasshopper.

Your income is not dependent upon the public but the Corporation., so is Tosh's, so is JimmyB's. dog is self-employed, by his own admission, and perhaps many of the Union Workers in town and the Retiree's and those on Medicare would take there work to someone else if they knew disdain for their plight. Perhaps no matter how good his product or ability they not go to his store. Viper has stated that point very well in the past. I have never asked anyone their identity on this forum and when someone offer one to me I was offended and rejected the information. It's totally unimportant to me your identity or that of any other poster. Why is it so important to you? g
