So true, dive. I have had a few friends tell me they wanted to work out with me, only to have them come up with some excuse as to why they can't workout. I don't lump my best friend (Gunner) in with these guys as he works out also, however, he works alot and is working on making his house beautiful, which makes being workout partners almost impossible. I'm just gonna stop being a baby about it though and get my butt out there in my weight room and power through it. ;D

He might be. I have to get in there today also. There are days I feel like it's a job also, and there are days (alot of them since I have been released from the doctor) where I don't feel like being in there. But, then you get that rush afterwards, from the endorphins and adrenaline (or whatever gives you that feeling. lol) and I feel great. I love that feeling. ;D I think I have talked about it enough today, I am gonna go workout and I'll come back later to see if f12 has responded. Thanks, dive. Always cool to learn new things about people.

Dive we are all learning new things about you daily. Fm if you are looking into supplements have you tried talking to a nutritionist to see what your body needs to get in that shape? I know GNC staff can help a little but they tend to hire people with no experience. Its better to hear from a pro. ; )

Well, I'll just ask my questions here and hope he responds. Ok, f12, my questions are: Which, if any, supplements are you taking? How many times are you training a week? Are you using a split or a full body workout? Pretty boring to everyone here, I know, but, noone else I know is currently weightlifting. I work out at home, so, comparing notes with someone does not happen often for me. You can answer here or PM, f12, it's up to you. Thanks. FM I just started back into it about a month ago. Right now, I lift 4-5 days a week. As for supplements, I just try to eat good and just use protein shakes. If you're looking for some supplements that are pre-workout pumps(nitrous), I recommend 17-HD. It's not a "pump/nitrous" product, but it works well as one. I'm not on it right now, but in another month I will be. 17-HD will give you more energy and stamina to do your workout. First time I took it, I increased the weight on all my sets because everything felt so light. I left the gym after a 1 1/2 hr workout, went home and couldn't believe the enrgy I had left. I ended up going back to the gym for another hour to workout more. Split workouts but no cardio right now for me. At my peak years ago, I weighed in at 240 lbs, with a 29 inch waist and 54 in chest.

FM...it may take freedom a little while to respond. Give him some time to google what the heck you are talking about so he can come up with answers. Please biotch, I went to college for Athletic Training and have trained and worked with many NFL legends. Thanks for trying to stir the pot though.

I'm currently using jack3d. It's not bad, although, doesn't work as good as I had hoped. Any words on motivation?

What are your stats, f12? I am still very much a work in progress, but, mine are: Arms-16" Chest- 43" Waist-32" Calves-15" Forearms- 13" Bodyfat is at 18 percent. I WILL get to single digit bodyfat. Before I hit40, which is in two years.

Best advice I can offer on motivation is, get a training partner. A partner helps you make it the days you don't wanna workout and pushes you during your workouts. Chosing the partner is important.
As for jack3d, I'd compare it with NO-Xplode. Both are decent products. I highly recommend 17-HD and for about the same price. It will blow away both jack3d and NO-Xplode.

That's not a bad idea though. I get most of my info online, and through other lifters. I've been getting really good gains though, so, I must be doing it right. ;D I wish I could afford a Personal Trainer.
