Well, I'll just ask my questions here and hope he responds. Ok, f12, my questions are: Which, if any, supplements are you taking? How many times are you training a week? Are you using a split or a full body workout? Pretty boring to everyone here, I know, but, noone else I know is currently weightlifting. I work out at home, so, comparing notes with someone does not happen often for me. You can answer here or PM, f12, it's up to you. Thanks. FM

FM...it may take freedom a little while to respond. Give him some time to google what the heck you are talking about so he can come up with answers.

One more question. I have had to quit training two times now due to health issues and was wondering what you do for motivation. I have to start over and I can't find that motivation to get back at it. It really does suck to watch your gains wither away and now having to start over again for the second time, really blows. I've been looking for a workout partner but they flake out on me and I can't afford a gym membership right now. All I have for motivation is music and my inner drive to make it happen. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks, FM

the best i ever did was finish 7th in the midwest open back in 1976. had a bench press of 330 deadlift of 450 and squat of 375. which was pretty good for my weight class of 165.

Lol! There's nothing wrong with that, dive. Most of my family and friends are growing theirs as well, and think I am nuts for lifting.

it takes a dedicated lifestyle to become an accomplished bodybuilder or powerlifter unless you use steriods............ ;D Very true. There is no way an average joe can look like Ronnie Coleman or Jay Cutler. I prefer the "classic" bodybuilder look as opposed to the monster looking freaks of today. There is no way I would want to be that big. But, even with taking steroids, you have to put in the work. So, they are dedicated guys. Just have to juice to look like a monster. I am no where near where I want to be or where I once was. I just need to find the motivation.

the best way to do that is find a gym rat that can push you to the level you wish to attain. i would always seem to do better when i found a lifting buddy that wanted to make me do one more rep or just one more set when i couldnt do another one.
