hes looking for dog food in this pic..I was shaking my rugs that sit under my dogs bowls..(they are messy eaters) so I am no longer doing that.. then I set kitty food out for 2 stray cats & he found that too.. so Now I pick up the cat food bowels about 6:30ish.. and get the hose out...lol If He ever shows up with a Brown Bag. Would you just drop some food in it for Me. I meant Him. ;D

Don't mess with them Coons. They are mean. I'd run too. BTW Does he ring the Doorbell when he comes there? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D LOL..not yet but if he knew the cat food was in here he would be...lol he does get close enough to my back step.. o.o I wonder if he was taken in as a baby and reset free. That or he is just really isn't afraid of anything but I doubt he would of lived in the wild so long. Haha maybe put up in lost and found that you found a raccoon?

I tryed to scare him off with the broom..that didnt work..he kept reaching his paw in the cat food refusing to leave.. then I threw my shoe towards him but not at him.. he didnt like that..& ran off.. then I thought of the hose.. I can keep my distance..inside my house door cracked & ready to shoot..hahaha Im hopeing he realizes no food here & you will get a bath..lol..

mama deer will be alright..
My buddy had a 3 legged doe on his property for years..she was healthy enough to bread in the fall and have twins year after year..
As for the coon, keep your dogs shots up to date..coons can carry distemper and other diseases and just eating out the same bowl can transmit diseases

A friend of mine found a baby deer in her yard in Peru. She left it be and waited for the mom to come back for it. The baby was still too young to stand on its own. She waited for three days and the mom never came back. She called Several animal control and animal hospitals and they all told her not to feed the deer or she would be charged with keeping the deer as a pet. After that she found a deer rescue in St. Charles, packed the baby deer up and dropped it off up there.
Unfortunately there isnt much you can do for the deer without getting in trouble.

Mom was probably around feeding the fawn and nobody saw it.. 3 days without food for a fawn would have surely killed it.. Doe's will drop their fawns and then leave them and come back at night to feed them and leave again

junecleaver them opossums don't bother you. this one was a baby when it first moved under my deck. it soon grew so fast and fat he couldn't get under the lattice very easily. the dogs didn't like it under there either so i trapped it and took it to trolls house........... ;D
