I guess I should’ve posted something about brawls, murders or politicians behaving badly instead of a happy topic.
And yes, people get engaged and married every day. They post to all that know them, to share their news. Does anyone here NOT know who Harry is? 🙄
I don’t see it as idolizing them. I just would rather read that information than about Kaepernic, any Kardashian or Jenner, or Trump/Obama bashing.

This is a subject for the hopeless romantics. The one's who believed they would grow up to find their prince and be princesses. I don't knock those who do, it's just not my forte. Must be more of a Lady Godiva type. Lol!

I'll add that both of Dianas sons do a lot of charity work, as does Prince Harrys fiance.I'm sure this is also why many admire them. |

Daaaaaammmnnnn your good. Blue is right. I read that they met because of the charity work she’s involved in. He could’ve gone the Hollywood direction of getting involved with Miley or a Kardashian or two. I don’t idolize anyone. But, I don’t live under a rock. I know where Heritage Park is, I know one of Jenner’s kids is pregnant, and it wasn’t planned 🙄. No, I don’t watch any of their shows. I don’t even have cable or satellite, and haven’t for years. I do stand in checkout isles that have front pages of magazine headlines, and I read headlines online. I also don’t want to see turmoil 24/7, so fluff pieces oozing happiness are nice once in awhile. Not every conversation has to be dramatic, argumentative, or suggestive. For a bunch of people that could care less about royalty or Hollywood types, you all have plenty to say. I actually thought this convo would go in a totally different direction, with my op. I assumed that people would discuss the relationship between them and their mother, and how it affected them if she passed. Or maybe if there was a divorce. What was I thinking? Lol |

I saw an interview with William and Kate once and they were asked about how they imagined Princess Diana would be as a grandmother. William just lit up at how fun she would have been. He joked that she would probably come in during their bath and bedtime and get them all riled up with playing. He thought she would have made a very fun and loving grandmother. It was sweet to hear him talk about her.

Both William and Harry truly deserve every happiness in the world...Not because of title, but by virtue of the fine men they are...
Charity is priority, duty means much more to them than just the royal end as both have served proudly, their Mother was a victim of her position and they knew that...
I feel a sense of pride when I get a glimpse into their worlds, and they have been more than willing to share themselves than any other member of the royal family...
Kudo's to them both for not being afraid to be themselves, and for bringing the monarchy into their level - not the other way around...
