One of the best things about living in your hometown is you have ties to so many. You either went to school with, or worked with, volunteered with, or are related to people or their families. This is my cousins cousin. And I went to school with their family. Lol.

It was on the ABC web site due to winning a large pumpkin contest in Wisconsin. One of our guys. He lives just a few blocks from me over by the football field.

Ahh it reminds me of the Charlie Brown cartoon I saw so many times growing up.. Good job growing it here..Guess the June floods didn't hurt it at all..

how many pumpkin pies could you make out of it? Probably one for every family in town R U up to it Dive? Just did a quick google search and says 3-5 pound pumpkin to make 1 pie so you could make somewhere in neighborhood of 400-700 pies

Would a pumppkin that size even taste good I wonder? probably not good for pies since sugar pumpkins are used mostly for pies or baking.

Those pumpkins are too big for pies from what I was told. But the seeds sell to other growers.
