Just out of curiousity. What pharmacy do you use? Or do you use the mail order pharmacy? Does your insurance cover the mail order pharmacy? I am just talking about routine medication like heart medication for example.

The few times I've had to have a prescription, it's been Kroger. I try not to see a doctor so I won't need medication.

Had to see a doctor for a work injury some years back. He tried to put me on two medications that had nothing to do with the injury. Coming from the same guy I had to fight to get an X-ray. Go figure.

Go figure. And doctors prescribe certain pain medication to patients, knowingly that they are either hooked on these meds or go out on the streets and sells them. It's not right, but does happen.

I get my scripts filled at walgreens since my insurance plans calls for it. some companies will not pay for mail order scripts.

They weren't for pain. Nothing to do with the injury whatsoever.

I used to go to thrifty also and followed the owners to Kroger. After 50 years they are like family and take the time to explain side effects and because I have been taking some Meds for years they also suggested blood work every 6 months to check liver and kidneys.

There is so much mark up on pharmaceutical, that they push it as far as they can, so much money for them. (It's a racket)

They must listen to Huey Lewis and the News "I Want a New Drug". Push push push. And all the side effects. Go in for an ache and they give medication that will cause an ache in the same spot. Makes sense to me.

The reason that I was asking, was that I have the option for mail order and get three months worth on my medication at a time. As a general rule, I have been using Wal Greens. I have used Krogers in the past. No complaints about neither Pharmacies neither. On occasions have used Streator Drugs, because of WalGreens being closed after being to the Emergency Room and needed to fill the prescriptions. Now I have not heard anyone using WalMart, as of yet.
