I bought gas in wenona yesterday for 1.99 a gallon. I thought I would never see gas that low in my lifetime.

That is what the OPEC ploy is. They want to ruin our new oil production because it costs more than theirs.

At $55.00 a barrel, gas should be at $1.80 per gallon. Just my opinion. You are absolutely right CC. Check the gasoline prices the last time crude oil was under $55.00 a barrel. It was a hell of a lot lower than it is now. Even when crude goes down they find a way to put the screws to the driving public.

in 1969 a barrel of oil was 1.35 and a gallon of gas was .35 cents.
