Flippant .............. as in about FLIPS, is this an oxymoron ? ................... M I did not say that, sniper did. And I am glad my SO's guns were taken from him. He would even pretend he was shooting his rifle. So if he had had one, I am sure many folks in that mall that day, would have been killed, the day he broke.

Hey GREEK, if anyone is too dense, it is you. Money is able to control this country far after death due to the BOOT of GOVERNMENT. Show us where this country was less dynamic prior to the GOVERNMENT making it "fair" You can't and you know you can't, as a matter of fact, if you are HONEST, you will admit that the largest RESTRAINT of business is the Government. Sniper, A tough day at working for your "Nanny Corporation", huh? Perhaps, "chevypower" could explain this post. It certainly explains nothing about the question I asked.
g This inane question redefines just how stupid you are.

Funny, I am as far right as it gets, yet I abhor the idea that this country was founded on either Capitalism or Christianity. Sniper, Then we agree completely that "this country was founded (n)either Capitalism or Christianity". Oh, but I doubt if I'm as "far left" as gets. Shall we sit back and let those who BELIEVE this Country was founded on CAPITALISM AND CHRISTIANITY present their case, and you and I play, "Buckley and Vidal". g

Beard, Charles. An Economic Interpretation of the Constitution of the United States (1913) Job, Do you care to share your interpretation of the book written in 1913 applies to today's world economy? How about the change in geopolitical borders? How many wars have occurred since 1913, that might change the conclusion upon which the author based his "interpretation"? Okay, I'll let you, Sniper, JimB, bigdipper, rocket, and chevypower keep us informed. See you at the polls. g

As usual, you missed the point. I was reacting to your comment: "Then we agree completely that "this country was founded (n)either Capitalism or Christianity." I thought that you would at least "look up" the book and pretend that you had read it years ago.

Job, Come on, pretend to know something other than having a question? Just an attorney thing I guess? I've never been impressed by an attorney. What other "job" gets paid whether they win or lose? I do believe that the members of the Illinois Supreme Court are all members of "Your Brotherhood", that keep protecting their own pension, as taxpayer's try to revise all pension systems of State of Illinois pensions, you know the hated teacher's pension in particular. Oh, wait no "conflict of interest" here though, right? How typical of an "Ambulance Chaser". Humm, wasn't it attorney's that participated in writing most of the laws at all levels of government, including the State of Illinois pension system. Now, the taxpayer's will have to pay the "Shysters" from prestigious Law Firms to undo the mess they created. Wow, what a "SWEETHEART DEAL"! Maybe we should get rid of all the attorney's. Nah, I know that's not my original thought, but who was it that suggested that? Your thoughts ? g

One reason why lawyers write the laws is that they can "write." Someone like you cannot write.
"What other "job" gets paid whether they are [sic] win or lose?
I do believe that the members of the Illinois Supreme Court are all members of "Your Brotherhood", that keep protecting their own pension, as taxpayer's [sic] try to revise all pension systems of State employee's. [sic]"
Three "sics" in two sentences is sick.

Job,
I forgot,
How many attorney's went to Prison during the "Watergate Scandal"?
OH, and Nixon graduated from "Duke Law School" did he not?
How about his Attorney General et.al.
How many Attorney's that were elected officials and ex-Governor's of Illinois were or are imprisoned?
Sorry Job, I'm not impressed by your degree.
I do believe President Hoover was an engineer, and I believe he has an economic philosophy similar to Sniper. Guess why?
I do believe President Harry Truman, a haberdasher on Main Street in Kansas City, was more aware if what the U.S. Constitution was about than any Attorney during the Nixon Administration.

Now, how about the members of "Your Brotherhood of Shysters" on the Illinois Supreme Court that continue to block pension reform. Oh, but it would effect their pension as well, wouldn't it. Isn't there a conflict of interest there? Can go give a coherent reply as to why it isn't? g
