The gov't wants to be the only drug dealer in this country. Figured they are legalizing pot for med use in illinois, that they want all the profits from selling it and get rid of the street dealers. Personally all drugs should be illegal period except the ones that are doctor prescribed by a licensed dr.

There is a bill in Congress to legalize pot. Let the indidvidual states decide, just like booze. Problem is that NOTHING gets passed in Congress.

you know they states will be all for legalizing recreational pot so they can tax it to high heaven. Illinois would legalize prostitution for the tax dollars if they could get away with it.

No one will be buying it legally, just like the states legalizing gambling with state reg machines. That's why there is still illegal gambling going on,because the person that owns the ones that aren't reglated by gov't can make more money and hide it for themselves
No one wants to pay a % to the gov't on anything that makes the owners a profit. Same with drugs ,users don't want to pay taxes on their drug fixes when buying them legally. They will still buy from the illegal street drug dealers tax free.

And the fda will regulate illegal drugs to take out all the stuff that the drug users get high from. They want to GET FVCKING HIGH. Not stay sober or whatever you call it being under the influence of drugs. They all want to feel a buzz or high feeling. Sorry world we all live in,that people cannot find anything else to do but do drugs or whatever else that gives them the wacky feeling, and fvck up their life.
If people would all keep a drug free mind ,you would be surprised of what you can do out there and have a good straight forward life. DON'T DO DRUGS ,DON'T BE A STONER! Be someone! Make something out of your life that is proactive with positive mind.

I can't agree. I've been around throughout the "war on drugs" & I believe matters have only gotten worse. Bring back personal choice & PERSONALRESPONSIBILITY!!
We clearly learned NOTHING from prohibition. But, then again, who lost when alcohol became legal again??? The lawbreakers who'd been making a fortune off of the whole mess. Much of the fortunes, made during prohibition, are still in the hands if those families today. Even in our little county. So, clearly, keeping drugs illegal is a benefit to those collecting big money off of the situation. Yea, just like prohibition:(

In my youth I had four or five plants behind the barn. One day a military copter flew over circled back and started to land across the road in the oat field. It didn't but it was the end of my growing years.
