there is a pic from abc7news on fb that shows 15.0" for Streator. But the time on the pic was from the 5am segment this morning. Hopefully at the 5pm segment tonight it will be less.

Rocket, they just posted that 3 hrs. ago. The time shows Monday 5:00am. That's when they predict it will end.

35yrs ago is when the last time windchills were that low. I walked in those temps one day to the store to buy recording audio cassettes when I was a kid desperately wanting them to record music. I was stubborn to wait another day when it got warmer. Boy was I numb and in pain from the cold. Never will I do that stunt again. That's one reason I wish the my work place would close down until these temps leave. Too dangerous to be out in that kind of weather.

people in Alaska work all year round without shutting down for cold lol. the temps up there get 45 below and that's without wind.
