I think this site should be available for police only.
Put yourself in their shoes ,when you get out of prison ,wouldn't you like to start your life over fresh and try living a normal life?
They cannot do this if people are going to their place of residence and threatening and harrassing them daily to run them out of town.
As dd has posted in the past, they do have the right to live wherever they want.
They did their time and deserve a 2nd chance in society to make a difference in their lives without people threatening and harrassing them daily.
They mess up the 2nd time, then they should be in prison for life.
Everyone deserves a 2nd chance in society to change ways for a better life.
What I don't understand is why they are also including offenders on this list that involve another adult. Thought the main reason of this registry was for adults who commits sex acts to minors only, not adults.

Rock,I suppose you want all public records sealed. Their alleged crimes are a matter of public record and deserved to be researched and citizens be made of aware of their surroundings. Castration and spaying, for the most heinous of crimes.

My point is that we need to stop condemning people after they served their time in prison. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance in society to make a change in their lives for the better and become a law abiding citizen again. I know there are some that refuse to do better ,which that is their choice, however those people would be back in prison for that choice they made. But there are people in prison that have found religion and have fought hard while in prison to make themselves better to become a better citizen and make good changes in their lives to stay out of jail and out of trouble.
I feel bad for the ones who have been framed and are innocent rotting away in prison. How many innocent people ended up executed for a crime they didn't commit? Most of these inmates who have been released from prison are thankful for a 2nd chance in society.
Don't wish something on someone that you wouldn't want done to you.
Look at both sides of the situation instead of one side of it.

Look at both sides of the situation instead of one side of it. Repeat offenses happen often regardless of the crime or the time served.... This database is composed of those who's names should be posted, and some who really couldn't be called pedophiles in anything other than the laws eye... It's pretty self explanatory if you read the offenses.......... The only thing I will add Rocket-is from all the interviews I've seen-A true pedophile will always be a pedophile!
