mywebtimes.com/archives/ottawa/display.php?id=463996I don't know WHO did this... but you have got to be the lowliest type of scum on the back of a horse's a ss. For whatever reason YOU did this to Deebo-- just know this; This dog belonged to a very close friend of mine-- and used to belong to me. His name was Deebo and he was a young, very sweet and loving dog. Yes, he was a pit bull... but first? He was an animal, second a dog, and third a family member.. He was not vicious, nor blood thirsty! He wasn't out to KILL your children or whatever stereotypical garbage you can think of. My friend is broken beyond words. How could ANYONE do this to his family member? Just know that not only did you take away a precious INNOCENT life... but you've also left a hole in the hearts of an entire family. Whoever you are, I hope you sleep better tonight knowing that once you finally die-- you'll be spending an eternity rotting in h ell. PITBULL HATERS NEED NOT POST. I will NOT respond to your garbage. This is about a lost family pet not about how you think he deserved to die BECAUSE OF HIS BREED. ______________________________________ Here's the precious life that was stolen last week... Rest in peace, Deebo. You were loved greatly and will be missed. <3

He's was a beautiful, beautiful boy.
There are dark, heinous people out there. Lock your doors and load your guns...they drift through this town looking to destroy, steal and hurt and this gorgeous dog got the attention of some two-legged mobile fecal matter somehow.
R.I.P. big boy.

Just wondering.. was he given away ran away? My friend took ownership of him about a year and a half ago when he babysat him for me when we went on a trip. His other dog and Deebo hit it off well, so I told him he could have him since he had more room at the time. As for the incident-- my friend came home from work to find his door wide open and Deebo dead in front of his house. So it sounds to me as if it were intentional, or he managed to get out of the house and something happened then. Is that what you were asking?

I'm confused...the article states that he was placed on railroad tracks so that it would look like he was hit by a train but you said he was found dead in front of his house?

Although I am not a Pit Bull fan, I am so sorry for the loss of your friends dog. Deebo was a beautiful dog.....that first picture of him in the back of the truck melts me. So sorry.....

I must admit it is confusing and I am not a pit lover but this no way should happen to any animal . It's awful. I see so many animals on this site to give away and I really think that half the people do not screen people when giving their animal away. People don't get a pet if you can't follow through and take care of them. I do understand that people move and can't take furry friend with if need be reach out to a rescrue or a shelter.

The letter to the paper was hard to understand....and differed from what you stated. If indeed, someone did harm to this dog....then yes...it makes me sick. I'm just wondering if there could be something else that happened.

So, could this have been a case of a burglary gone bad? If the door of the house was open and this poor dog shot? Seems there is alot more to this awful story. That first picture of him that you posted LAB ......... is so precious. Such a shame to hear about this senseless act. M

There is A LOT more to this story! I agree. Some of it just does not make sense. But killing a dog (or cat) that way is just WRONG.
