I started to make the sauerkraut, due to I had four nice size head of cabbage out of the garden. My wife is starting to freeze the green beans since we are get a large amount of green beans. Had four cucumbers today out of the garden. I am looking forward to the tomatoes turning red even though we will be getting hit with a large, large, amount of them. And my wife is making potato salad and is using the celery out of the garden.

Lol, I just miss my plants. It was a crazy spring. I barely had time to sleep, let alone get any plants in. And my patio looks so boring

I container garden, when I do plant. You can get a ton of stuff out of a small space, using containers.

Seven bags of green beans. one bag of rhubarb, Two bags of salsa in the freezer as of today. The only thing that I am not sure on is can you freeze celery or is it better to dehydrate them?

Some mismarked plant was taking over our garden choking everything else out. They looked like pumpkins to me and we didn't purposely plant pumpkins. So, we yanked them the other day. Two plants stretched from our sweet corn (at one end of our garden) clear to the tomatoes (at the opposite end of the garden. Now that they are gone, our yellow squash and zucchini is finally getting the room and sunlight they need to produce. Next year we are going to start our garden from seeds under a grow light in the garage. We've only had one tomato turn red so far and a couple handfuls of cherry tomatoes. Those don't usually make it home. I eat those right off the vine. lol

I was just talking to my neighbor. He is not too happy w/ his peppers or tomatoes. You wait, in August you will shake hands w/a friend and be handed a sack of tomatoes w/ the other hand.
