The reason farmers are allowed to dump literally tons of poison on the soil and growing crop is exactly why this machine isn't feasible at this point. It won't be feasible until it evolves into apparatus that is capable of effectively covering several hundred acres a day. Today's farmers can treat 300 or more acres with toxic pesticides in just one day. Mechanical weed control is not a viable option due to it's limitations of acres per day and the need for skilled operators. You can't cover several hundred acres a day with just one row crop cultivator or a weed control appliance like this one and the bigger operator don't like spending time in that way. It takes focus away from figuring out how to lease of buy additional tracts of farmland. Always gotta' get bigger. Right?

i read about that. our farmers will be sitting on their corn and beans. the exports will fall drastically due to the cheap prices brazil will be raising commodities compared to us.
