The airline I work for part time as a bag handler at has started making us double glove prior to touch passenger bags as part of their coronavirus prevention plan. We have to now wear nitrile gloves with a work glove over it. At the end of shift our nitrile gloves are placed in the trash and we have to wipe down the work glove with sanitizing wipes. We must now wear gloves while doing cabin service and if it's an international flight we must wear face masks while doing cabin work. All trash bags from the cabin need to be tied closed prior to being taken off the plane. Anytime we take our gloves off, we are required to either wash our hands or use hand sanitizer.

One of the biggest problems I’ve seen with staff wearing gloves, is that they’re not changed often enough. The workers protected, but after coming in contact with surfaces or substances that would make a person wash their hands normally, they don’t, because they have a glove protecting them. Then they go on to contaminate clean surfaces.

www.bbc.com/news/amp/world-51338899Per the article, numerous countries have closed entry to those who’ve been in China recently. Yet it’s the US that’s singled out. Since our country is so divided, the entire world might as well jump into the frey. ...divided we fall The WHO points to the problem that closing entry will lead to illegal entry. We specialize in that 😏

One thing you need to consider, if it isn't a big deal in China, why have they shut down most of their factories? It was even in the paper a local import business is seeing shipping disruptions.
I think they don't really want the world to know just how many people have it....... Not to say it is the end of the world though.

I saw they're pad-locking people in their homes ... And 90 per cent of their industry is shut down..They are downplaying this immensely.

I realize the flu itself is bad and feel for those who are ill or have died from it.But this seems to be different from what I read and measures like this tell me if it goes rampant we have a problem.

Update on it: The Chinese government silenced a prominent Dr. who was attempting to warn about it in Dec. He later died from it. Over 350 other Drs. were silenced & some were killed to stop China "looking bad." to the rest of the world & China.
