What a wonderful place for the town's spawn & challenged fine citizens to work. That's why the minimum wage should be be $15 an hour. You have to pay for that kind of special service.

He sounds more like a card carrying KKK member to me. The anonymous forum is his white hood. I don't think he cares one way or what reaction he gets. I think he's found an outlet for his real views. And Kyle isn't trying to get a rise out of anyone. He is steadfastly looking for some great find to bring down Rome/Streator. Why do you think he's FOIAing every little thing? He's looking to ruin as many as possible. And hoping to derail any outside visitors that might come to spend their money here. Most people are starting to see through his actions. Others take a little longer.

There's a huge difference between daytime shift and evening/night shift. I see the same thing at fast food establishments in other communities where I work, and visit. So many kids aren't being brought up with any sense of responsibility, pride in their work, or any work ethic at all. Yep Helen I do believe you are right . I have a problem early in the morning around 4:30-6 AM with readiness of my order. It takes them so darn long because they aren't prepared for that early morning breakfast rush for early morning workers. I would say if it was kids working there at that time they were just not being irresponsible and ready but it is adults in there at the time I speak of and it is the adults that are not being prepared and irresponsible. I have a friend who over see's the Streator Store and Peru and Ottawa and even mentioned it to him. He said he would pass it on to the store manager and get it straighten out. SAD, It is still going on as of today and now with other shifts as I can see by other's posts on here.

I'D ...But, they might make pancakes, depending on the store.

Probably was some kid who doesn't like his job.. Sad thing is he doesn't understand doing your job correctly whether you like it or not will lead to better opportunities in life..

With Burger King at least you can substitute the fries with onion rings. If McDonald is too busy Burger King is an option. I perfer the morning staff at McDonalds over the afternoon/evening staff. I don't do fast food restaurants very often. But my girl brought home a huge double patty cheese burger from B.K. It was pretty good. My favorite place is still Wendy's. Wendy's CHili is very good.

Culver's is so much better than McDonald's that they shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence! A Culver's in Streator would seriously hurt McDonald's, and justifiably so.

Gee, some people sure do seem to really want to talk about me, don't they? Do you really believe that having better enforcement of our laws will bring Streator down? Do you really believe that my FOIAing is ruining anyone? You do realize that my FOIA's are to reveal the jobs that our leaders do, don't you? If talking about the jobs they do ruins them, do you really think that is my fault? I find it interesting that you seem to think that an insignificant citizen talking about the jobs that our leaders do is ruining anyone. If you weren't just talking more crap and more people were seeing through me, my talking about what they do wouldn't be ruining anyone, would it? Perhaps the reality is that more people are starting to see through our City leaders lack of actions, don't you think? Do you really think that you know so much about me to really know what my hopes are? Can you post where I have ever said that I hope that? Haven't I been saying for many years that I want better enforcement of our laws so that more people would be willing to come to Streator to spend their money on things like entertaining their family in a unique movie palace? You could probably easily find a quote to that effect. When people come from other communities to view the fireworks and guns are held to the heads of their children in one vehicle and in another vehicle a man's small children watch as he is beaten at gunpoint, but then SPD doesn't want to even take reports to try to get the guns used in the violence off our streets(and doesn't that night), do you think that encourages people to want to come spend their money in our community? Should I post the 911 recording of one of the men asking to be connected to ISP because of the poor response from an SPD sergeant? A shoot out happens with some 20 shots being fired in a neighborhood and the Mayor says that he doesn't want to provide information about who was involved so that they don't leave the area. With the recent drive by shooting shouldn't people from other communities already realize that it seems that the participants likely took up the Mayor's invitation to stay here? Do you think that the uncontrolled gun violence in our community really makes a lot of people want to come spend their money here? A man was recently found unconscious and in critical condition and another man also injured on Vermillion Street. Have our leaders even started trying to figure out who is responsible to issue any consequences for that? Do you think having criminals like that loose on our streets makes a lot of good people want to come here? When Carl Lenard confessed to his violent attacks and they had a victim really wanting charges pressed, they still refused to take action to issue consequences, similar to what I have seen for years and have been talking about being wrong. Don't you think that more people from other communities heard more about the local mother being murdered and her child being brutally assaulted than an insignificant citizen voicing his opinion that these violent criminal incidents should be addressed before the criminals are so emboldened? Wouldn't you think that the eleven year old's life is ruined more than any of my talking about the way the City handled the violent confessed monster being wrong could possibly ruin any of our leaders? Even if all of our leaders were to lose their jobs over it, it still wouldn't bring his mother back or make him forget about being brutally assaulted, would it? Those government officials would still have their lives and family members, wouldn't they? After the eleven year old's life was so ruined, should I really worry about whether my talking about what they do ruins our leaders? What about the gag order though? If my talking about what our what our City leaders do is so terrible, why don't you go to my family members to get them to issue another gag order? You do seem to claim to know so much about my family, don't you? Perhaps you can get the law enforcement family member or the local government official family member to try to take away my First Amendment rights to talk about what our leaders do, if they do also support confessed violent criminals just being emboldened to brutally victimize more members of our community. I wouldn't know, I don't think I've ever even met them. It's not like I am falsely declaring our leaders illegal on the cover of the newspaper.
