Idk who is paying, but he's retained the same law firm that represented Manteno, and I read somewhere Madigan.

the taxpayers will be left paying off all the lawsuits as they have been in the past. this case is really a grey area in the law books due to the fact there will be so many different laws violated. this whole mess could end up being heard by the supreme court before it is done.

Do you really think that my admitting that I must have missed the article is such a stupid remark? I have noticed that some articles do not seem to stay on the newspaper's web page and that the page is blocked in areas and automatically scrolls as the pop up ads fill in. Do you just not think it is possible that I could have missed the article? Did I miss more articles about the other issues that I mentioned? The editor told me several months ago in two emails: Our staff is going to take a look at this. It is definitely curious on the sale price of the building and how it jumped up ... not sure what that's about, but we'll look into it
Reporter Brent Bader is looking into the transaction. He's requested public TIF documents and has taken a trip to the courthouse already (and has confirmed what you've told us.) ... We've been held up because we have some questions for Scot Wrighton, but he's been out of town for the better part of a week.Have you seen any article about the City's huge taxpayer funded gifts allowing the $295,000 same day profit? Doesn't it seem like newsworthy information for the struggling taxpayers here when our leaders can't even seem to provide us a proper level of services? The newspaper reported about the Main Street incident, going into the details from the Police Reports about whose name is on a birth certificate, but seemed to leave out many more important details. Did I miss where they provided the details about the monster confessing his assault, as the Officer wrote in his report? Don't you think that our leaders not doing the jobs properly that we pay them for and allowing crimes to be legal, emboldening the criminals, is something that the public should be informed of? Isn't our leaders not properly doing the jobs that we pay them for what got us into the expensive situation that this thread is about?

Isn't our leaders not properly doing the jobs that we pay them for what got us into the expensive situation that this thread is about? Is that right? Was that point that you were making just your "B Boy" personal attack? Yes, it seems that there are others who also try to distract from the real issues with their BS personal attacks. Many of my detractors have called me better names than "B Boy". Our City leaders have taken their shots at me too, including their false "illegal" attack against my family on the cover of the newspaper after I asked that they start providing better for our community. Yes, some people would rather attack others than have the real issues actually be discussed. Some even seem to think that personal attacks against others is "Modern Presidential", meanwhile our governments continue to just seem to be quite dysfunctional, don't they? After all the name calling and personal attacks though, the problems just continue to be problems, don't they? Try to remember though (as it's been said by many on here) it's not about Kyle Mitchell or any insignificant individual. No matter how many names you call me, it won't change that our leaders have not properly done the jobs that we pay them for and have just emboldened a confessed violent criminal to brutally victimize more people in our community, right?

So your new buzz word is "a confessed violent criminal"? New? It has been months that I have been talking about the Officer's own words from the report that he prepared telling about the violent criminal confessing an assault to him. The Officer goes on to say in his report that he threatened the victim with arrest for wanting our laws enforced and provides no other reason for his threats. The Officer also says in his own words that there was video available of the crime, but it seems that he didn't even bother to collect the taxpayer funded video evidence. The prime example of the lack of proper enforcement of our laws that seemed to just emboldened the monster to brutally victimize more people in our community is not my "buzz word". I am just talking about our City leaders' own words about the jobs that we pay them to do. All you have to do is file a FOIA request to see for yourself that they are not my words at all. The lack of proper enforcement of our laws seems to just be what our leaders do.

Somebody really needs a new hobby. Yes, perhaps those who attack others for talking about what our government leaders do should get a new hobby. Calling me names certainly doesn't make it any more acceptable that our leaders don't do the jobs properly that we pay them for when they just embolden confessed violent criminals to brutally victimize more people in our community, does it? You don't believe that talking about women bleeding really does anything to solve the problems of our country either (or is even relevant to the conversations of improving our country), do you? Talking about the jobs done by the leaders we pay is a Constitutional Right that our country was founded on, isn't it?

So your new buzz word is "a confessed violent criminal"? Lol not sure how new it is. I went back and skimmed through Kyle's posts ( rants) from the last 5 or 6 years. It boggles the mind. Talk about beating a dead horse. He has been going on and on about the same bs for years,YEARS!, using the same collection of buzzwords. When you look at them as a mass it's frightening.

Melissa Kyle isn't the first one that over the years has screamed about how the city of Streator has enforced the laws on the books. The rest of us that complained like myself in the 90's eventually got tired of hitting ourselves in the head with a hammer and shut up. He however has the resources to carry on the fight and wants to keep fighting. There is no denying it Streator IS CORRUPT to its core it is not how well you do around here it is WHO YOU KNOW OR WHAT YOUR LAST NAME IS. Certain families in this town are untouchable and we all freaking know it along with their friends. The SPD has been inept for years. It took the Southside of town dang near raising a Lynch mob to get anything done about a Burglar that was running around town with almost impunity. They finally pulled him off the streets for a bit before someone planted him.
