What happened to it? Since when does the Pope get involved in politics? Government is evil. That's one reason we have separation from church and state.

You have to have separation of church and state because of all the different religions. Or lack of religion. They are to govern. Not be holier than thou.

It only applies when that separation aids the Liberal mantra.
It is perfectly cool to kill Christians if it for the common good.

Greek, I don't respect any man who thinks he walks on the water, no matter his political beliefs............. including you.
Liberals have special dispensation from the media though, a moron can see that.

I was hoping that someone would get up in the middle of the good man's lecture on why we should let in those poor people from the South and say: "Pope, tear down that wall." What wall, you might say? The wall in question is the huge wall around the Vatican. You know, the wall which helps the Vatican remain its iron clad anti-immigration policies. The Vatican, after all, is a separate country; and it does not want undesirables to emigrate there.

Nothing yet on the other one, per the Times Mags. web site.

Just because the Vatican has billions of dollars, there is no reason why the Vat should do anything other than token "help."

The only reason the Vatican has any money is because all of the believers keep giving their hard earned money to the church. AND make sure you give a good percentage, so you stay in good graces with the church. The Pope is like the "president" telling you what rules to follow. Who tells him?

I do find it especially hypocritical that the Pope tries to lecture US, the country that takes in 1.7 Million Immigrants thru the legal process, and untold millions ILLEGALLY............ When he won't take many at all. Oh yea, I wonder if they will accuse him of a war on women, the Vatican will not let a single woman immigrate unless they are to be married to one of the guard.
