Shameful, what a waste of taxpayer money. Stick to the poor academics and try to teach the spawn an occupation. Telemarketing and waitstaff, ought to be sufficient.

With a poverty rate rate of over 60%, what does the spawn have to look forward to? The citizen's give them free lunches, backpacks, medical, dental, foods stamp allotments, lodging & cell phones. The dumbacrat creed (entitlements = votes.)

I can speak from experience since I played on a few losing teams here in Streator in my younger years. as a kid its no fun losing every game except one during a season. you come out to play your heart out and it seems like no matter what happens you lose. I remember the good years with the bad but we still had fun as kids. living in poverty now doesn't mean the future generations will too. there are plenty of people that have worked hard and got out of the mold of which you speak of. with hard work and a sense of worth instilled in a young kid anything can be attained if they can dream it. you are partially right in your post cityslicker. living in poverty breeds future generations that will accept that lifestyle but some will look beyond the handouts and become useful citizens. don't blame the kids on their parents shortcomings.

Two pathetic teams playing each other. Poor coaching, riddled with penalties and miscues. Send the coach back to Livingston county, I doubt, if he is welcomed anymore.

Hope they had a good time. That's what sports are for. The Cubs have a huge following, and they haven't had a winning season for 108 years

The Cubs don't cost the taxpayer money. The spawn in sports cost the taxpayer money and district assets. The taxpayer already feeds, houses and provides medical care for the poverty riddled spawn. Give them some rocks & have them head up to the park and destro a few statues. That can be their free FUN. Helen.

You would rather they break the law? The point is for them to be involved in something that keeps them out of trouble.

Congrats to the Bulldogs on their second win in a row. Three wins for the season. One game left with a chance to end on a good note.

Another poor season, even a walk on p*ss out of town coach, can't make gold out of sh•t. Cut the sports!
