And how are you persecuted? Sounds to me like you want "mud wrasslin". (Meant to be misspelled.) Oh but dear, I am EVERY BIT as persecuted as the gays who can't be asked to drive the next county over to get their license, now aren't I? Let us be honest, I have to work hard to find a grievance, just as the gays do............. Mud Wrasslin is a spectator sport, no? When it is the law, they should not be told no or have to go elsewhere. The answer to your last question is, somebody has to participate in order for someone to spectate.

There is no law that says I MUST accommodate you at my place of business. I defy you to show me where that is remotely Constitutional. I am smarter than most though, I would refuse your business because I thought you were an butt, not because you were gay. Like I said, the clerk was in a different position, she should have resigned her job, but as I have also tried to point out, she is no more wrong than those on the other side who have done nothing but piss, moan, and whine and push law until they got their way.

When you work with the public, you have to cater to them. Your opinions have to stop at the door. If you no longer can handle the job, for whatever reason, then quit. Go work elsewhere. The business wants whatever dollar the customer is willing to spend. Not you telling them to go elsewhere.

But Sniper is right about a private sector privately owned small business like the Baker. They should be able to turn down business if they want, reserve the right to turn it down for whatever reason. We have not banned anyone from our place of business, but a couple have explored the boundaries. Giving sufficient reason, I can understand turning someone away. Otherwise you could be earmarked as predjudiced. And there is a difference between an owner and an employee.

He has openly refused his duty to perform more than anyone in recorded US History, and nothing has been said. Perhaps this is a real war on Women? Otherwise why are we picking on a poor low level clerk?

Should be illegal for gays to adopt kids. these people want kids then go straight and get involved with the opposite sex instead with the same sex.

I don't know where you get your thoughts, but they are every bit as dangerous to a civil society as Obama's are........... There is exactly ZERO evidence that a pair of gay parents will steer their child to be gay.

Relationships don't always last. Whether it be divorce or death. As long as a child has a home and the necessities of life.

Forgot too mention love, It's important to say you love one another, a lot of parents do not say that enough.

Fact Jack, Obama has refused to enforce more federal laws than any 40 prior officials. Now, if it isn't a war on women, why is he picking on this poor woman? Of course I am being facetious, or am I?

It requires a license that she was not willing to give. She was breaking the law. Religion is not to be in the workplace. If your beliefs prevent you from doing your job, then you must go. That's like a pro-life activist working in a clinic that does abortions. A vegetarian as a butcher. It just isn't going to work.

One thing in this particular scenario is that the rules changed AFTER she had started the job. Marriage for gay couples only recently became the law of the land......soooooo......she could possibly have a case of some kind. But... She also was aware it was coming. If you were a vegetarian who only cut fruits and vegetables, then were told you were going to have to cut meats. Wouldn't you start looking for a new job? Or was she using her position so that she wouldn't have to pay for all the licences for all her marriages? Living the lifestyle she has, how can she pass judgement on someone else's? Sometimes you just have to bite your tongue to get through a customer.

I just came back from Kentucky. she is an elected official so the only way to remove her from office is to vote her out. this case will play out in the courts down there.
