So it is legal for folks to fly drones over your property? That sux. (Job, I see you manning a "gunner's nest" at your place .....ready for the first drone that comes over.) LOL I am not worried about drones, but I am worried about bears. If you have been following the news, you may have noticed that a bear has taken up residence near our house. Simply type in "bear Michigan City, Indiana" on the Internet, and you will see what I am talking about.
Oh, for a City Council that would declare him "illegal," like Streator did with Kyle.

If fences make good neighbors, I suppose a drone would abolish that. When you have a neighbor that can't keep their nose in their own yard, it would become a severe problem. I had a neighbor once, where I used to live, that would sweep his roof to see what was going on in our yard. And for those who like to sunbathe nude, someone could be watching you.

The city needs to change the fence ordinance to allow fences on the sides of property to be 14ft high That would keep people in a 2 story house from looking in your yard from the second floor. 6ft height doesn't stop a person looking over into your property. Cause I feel that a person with a 2 story home puts a privacy fence up for Privacy should respect the neighbor of a 1 story house there privacy as well by getting a variance To go 14 ft high to ensure privacy to neighbors as well.

Problem is they have drones small enough with ir cameras that can fly in total darkness. Walmart sells a toy helicopter with built in camera. You cant hear it flying or even see it at night time. Someone has their windows open at night, perfect opportunity for someone to fly into your house undetected and capture images and video with these. This is why I don't ever open my windows or open my blinds or curtains wide open. Since these small toys are out there anyone can become a victim of burglary or being watched thru your bedroom or bathroom windows hoping to catch you nude on camera. Criminals and sex offenders would have a ball with these. That's why I rather see the gov't do a total ban on these to the public.

Well if they came through my window and saw me nude, they would be blinded.
