From our local junior high's home page:
No wonder the kids can't read or write anymore. The school is too busy doing what the parents should be doing. northlawn.district.ses44.net

When I here years ago, the one thing I really noticed was how rude some people would be. If you opened a door for someone, they didn't even nod their head or anything. They drop their money and you give it to them, nothing. I was raised with morals and manners instilled by my parents. The schools are picking up the slack from the parents who aren't teaching their kids. Not all mind you. There are still people who teach their kids. But the ones who don't are overtaking the ones who do.

Some of the staff members are just as bad or if not worse than the students at Northlawn. So what about teaching the adults also, some manners. Just saying.

I think, besides students bullying students, there are also alot of the staff members,( and mind you not all of the staff members), at Northlawn are just as guilty for bullying. And they wonder why us parents get defensive, or pull their kids out of Northlawn and home school their kids.

Me being very vocal, gave it back to them. I've also seen some really great teachers that give so much extra to their students, that you wonder how they could have a life outside of the school. Always good and bad. Just like to see good more often.

I had kids there a long time ago and remember some teachers who my kids said were very strict...but bullies? And you say there a lot of them there now? Wow...
