How many routine beatings and public urinations have you witnessed or videotaped since the infamous newspaper last year? Just wondering

Maskedman, doesn't BnR, just down the street from you get their meat from Gridley Locker?
I believe they will still deliver to your home, also.
We have Kroger, Wal-Mart, Aldi, BnR East and South. For shift workers, both Kroger and Wal-Mart are open 24/7. Did you ask any of Streator grocers to carry whatever you went all the way to Fairbury to get?
How old is the pool in Fairbury? Have they faced any major problems with it? Pontiac lost their pool, due to structural problems. Peru lost their pool. Ottawa has faced major structural issues with theirs. Town after town are dealing with exactly what Streator faced with our pool. And most are seeing the same results.

Dave's in Fairbury is in a class of its own. I don't go out of my way to go there unless it is for their twice a year meat sales. Then it is worth the trip. The meat is super and they have a huge selection of items. The bakery department is all homemade really great stuff. Their ham salad is the best I have had. They have a little restaurant section there that you can eat while you are there. The fried chicken is worth bringing home a bucket full. I do 95% of my grocery shopping in town here but if I am in the area I always stop at Dave's. Yes they do take your groceries to the car for you and load it for you. Wish I could get them to bring in home and put it away for me and cook it when I am ready. When I decided to come home to Streator I thought about opening the old Super Dairy and making it an Oberweis Ice Cream parlor. I thought about having milk delivery too. Oberweis still delivers milk and dairy items to homes. When I lived in Yorkville we had delivery twice a week. It comes in glass bottles and the quality is great. I knew that there were not many good paying jobs here and I was no Spring chicken even then. The company I worked for has let me work at home so I never did pursue that dream. I am not sure if Streator would support the higher costs of milk and ice cream. It is great quality but would Streator pay for that? The High School also went to closed campus lunches and that would have hurt too.
