FIL, encountered a flash flood, in front of Highschool, last noc around 10, after only 20 minutes of rain. My Lady Lounge, was a house boat,for awhile.

Looks like more rain coming from the North. Looks pretty dark that way. I have not checked radar, but was just observing ourside w/Dogbert. I thought I heard some thunder,too.

The cell in s/e iowa has been tornadic. Numerous tornado warnings from this cell. Looks like it is tracking towards i74 corridor.

Ottawa is under the gun right now for a tornado on the ground in northern lasalle county.
THIS TORNADO WILL BE NEAR... OTTAWA AROUND 855 PM CDT. SERENA AROUND 900 PM CDT. MARSEILLES AROUND 905 PM CDT.
INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING INTERSTATE... I-80 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 85 AND 97.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Lasalle county alerts and bulletins fb page is posting All weather warnings. Confirmed tornados in sublette and triumph. Wood haven's camp ground has been hit and numerous rescue crews enroute To help with search and rescue

I hope this misses everyone, be careful and pay attention out there !!
Our dew point temperature down here is still 76 degrees this evening,..I know it doesn't take much to get things stormy with conditions like this.
I'm watching to the north this evening to see what might develop and move our way ? The past week or two we've had bad storms from the north.
Usually our weather is somewhat tempered temperature and humidity wise...not the case this year, mother nature is pulling out all the stops it seems !
