Ignoring the imbeciles comments, Butters, just exactly what employee gets to tell the boss how the job will be done?
It would seem as if one needs a set of stones in Springfield.
Hopefully Bruce will let them know that employers have rights as do employees.......

It wasn't a comment Skippy, it was a question. I was just wondering what state agency is currently functioning without computers. Butters has been known to just regurgitate mindless drivel he trolls off his teabagger websites. I was just wondering if this is another example of that.

Your "teabagger" response is telling. You and toshiko are birds of a feather in your inability to present your views. You're just being an a$$hole because you never have the balls or an argument to take me on and it pisses you off.

Only an idiot would assume that there is a single office today without a computer, or that a system would run 1.8 million dollars. A quick stab at reading would have netted you the word "digitize" and perhaps the realization that there might be a specialized system to replace labor........

A number of people were curious about the "department" he mentioned. When queried, his spokesperson said: "The governor used this as an example of state government that can be streamlined and made more efficient to save money, which could then go to the state's most vulnerable citizens," spokeswoman Catherine Kelly said. "The project the governor mentioned is in the works, so it would be premature to provide additional details because they are in the early stages of development." The department was a mystery to AFSCME too. Their president said that there are no work rules in any of its contracts prohibiting the use of computers. It must be a big department if computers would save all of those millions.

As someone who used to work for a state agency, what I'm reading has little to do with "computers" in general...From my experience, what is being referred to when it comes to "digitizing" is the ability to "image" paper documents into the system...This eliminates the need to keep and maintain paper files, and indeed saves money...When we started imaging, it was a huge blessing to those of us who relied heavily on access to documents in a timely manner...It didn't cost 100's of jobs, it cost maybe 4 out of 1000 jobs...And believe me, those who were let go weren't worth their salaries anyhow...They were solely dedicated to fetching files because the workers were too lazy to get off their a$$e$ and fetch it themselves...They didn't provide crucial services, and were more often than not just sitting at their taxpayer funded desks playing on their computers all day...Of course the union wasn't happy with it, but oh well...It saved the state tons of money, and made the documents accessible from our desktops...

Hardly, I find it quite amusing to see you get your panties in a bunch when I "take you on" by pointing out how grossly misleading or just outright wrong your sources are. When you realize what an idiot you look like you then resort to name calling. Solid debating skill there butterballs.

As a rule, you and other LIBS - because none of you can back up your chosen party's actions in any way - nitpick posts, avoiding the main idea or center of discussion. And that's okay...but you need to realize it's all there for everyone to see. You...debate? Let's see some of your "debating" skills! The next time I ask you to back your position...do so.

Nitpicking posts, is that what you call pointing out or questioning misleading statements or outright lies you use to support your "main idea or center of discussion"? Maybe you should just take my advice and simply Google the next shocking revelation you turn up on your daily teabag blog before you start a new thread on here. It will save you from looking like a misinformed twit of course that will take away all my fun of pointing out what a misinformed twit you are.
